Our Opinion
For tablets the most versatile holder is available - the X-Grip Universal Holder with a mobile adjustable Tough-Claw clamp. It can be easily and tool-free clamped onto all compatible pipes. This holds really well with the appropriate tightening. The Tough-Claw also holds on surface edges in principle, but for a tablet the grip is not stable enough based on our experience. The size difference in tablets is sometimes already considerable, which is why the X-Grip for tablets comes in three sizes. This one fits nearly all nine to eleven inch devices without adjustment, without special accessories. Since it survives many device generations, this is an important feature. Due to the spring tension it holds them very stably under normal requirements. However, if the tablet is used in a vibration-rich area, the additional optional support arms should be used.
